Silverstone Strider 550w PSU (Gold Rated) I know the requirements listed for power are between 600-650w for the 1080 Ti, however i researched that 550w should be enough pending that the PSU is decent enough to handle heavy load. From the comments I read, people said that yeah it might be tight however it should be fine.

The rm550x is a very good psu and it will handle your rig easily. The nvidia recommendations are a bit over the board, since they assume that some users might have lower quality units. I was using a seasonic g550 for several years on oc 3770k cpu with a r9 290 and later on a 1080TI. Needlessly to say you will be fine.
